Many organisations have recognised the need to acquire capability for the early recognition of specific opportunities for innovation but fewer have the capability to assess the organisational change requirements that the new or different rivers of innovation could require. The UK’s NHS provides an example of leading practice in examining the organisation development implications of evolutions and revolutions in human service provision.
