Data Protection Policy

There are three main types of information that we collect and use in Richmond Consultants Ltd

 

High risk – This covers information that is highly sensitive or confidential and is held on secure systems and shared only with named individuals. This includes personal information held on clients enrolled in our coaching programmes and reports for clients.

Restricted – This information is intended only for internal audiences and is low risk if it was released to the public. Examples could include training designs.

Public – This includes any publicly shared information that Richmond Consultants Ltd has produced. Examples include: published reports and our blogs.

Required Procedure for High Risk data

  1. Computers must be protected by two-layer security

  2. Confidential Information must be stored in locked filing cabinets.

  3. Offices must have alarms connected to a Remote Monitoring Station.

  4. Documents must be password protected or encrypted before being emailed..

  5. Clients must be asked to supply a list of names of people who are permitted to see restricted data.

  6. We dispose of confidential data that that we are not required to store or that is no longer useful on a monthly basis.

  7. A paper shredder must be to dispose of printed materials.
